Mid-Level Providers

At CommUnityCare, our mid-level providers are an integral part of the health care delivery team. We employ Nurse Practitioners (NP) and Physician Assistants (PA) who provide high quality health care services similar to those of the doctor. Mid-level providers diagnose and treat a wide range of health conditions. Their work includes taking medical histories, performing physical exams, ordering and interpreting laboratory tests, managing and treating illnesses and writing prescriptions. In addition to providing clinical care, mid-level providers focus on health promotion, disease prevention, health education and counseling. They help patients make wise health and lifestyle choices.

Our mid-level providers work closely with our physicians as partners in our health care delivery system. They practice under the laws of the state in which they are licensed and have graduate, advanced education and clinical training.
