CommUnityCare serves residents living in Travis County who are enrolled in:
• Medicaid
• Medicare
• CHIP
• Travis County Healthcare District Medical Assistance Program (MAP)
• Sliding fee scale (Patients who are eligible for services on a discounted fee scale based on family size and income)
Patients who live outside Travis County who have Medicare, Medicaid or CHIP may also use our services.
Patients with Medicaid, Medicare or CHIP do not need to go through an eligibility process. They may call the Patient Access Center at 978-9015 or one of our clinic locations directly to schedule an appointment. Residents seeking enrollment in the MAP program or services on a sliding fee schedule, go through an eligibility screening. These screenings are performed at the Travis County Healthcare District Eligibility offices. Appointment can be made by contacting the Customer Service Call Center at 978-8130. While setting an appointment, Eligibility staff will provide further instructions regarding which documents are required for the interview. For further information describing the process, patients may call 512-978-8130. Additional information on the MAP program is available online at CentralHealth.
To qualify for dental services, patients must receive their primary medical care within the CommUnityCare system.
